this was my second visit in 5 years, I am very impressed the change in the capital of Addis Ababa I travelled to the north to Gonder and stayed in this newly built hotel a few miles away from the centre of the city, This is the best hotel in this region with exellent food and great service. Such accomodation is totaly impossible to find in this city for less than $20 for a room with a modern restaurant with Ethiopian and International food I strongly recommend queens hotel

Don't miss this exceptional hotel, the Conchal Hotel in Brasilito, just a short walk from the beautiful Conchal Beach. The accommodations are very reasonable, rooms are clean, food is great (at Papaya- a 5-star restaurant as good as any I've been to.) Owners and staff go out of their way to make you feel at home at this wonderful boutique hotel.
I loved the location of the Governor Hotel, hated the service, was blah about the room - Maria B. Date of travel: Mar 2009

The location of the Governor Hotel is prime, right off of the airport-to-downtown light rail and above the Jake's Bar (check out the 4-6 and 10-close cheap bar menu offering full fare at supper discounted rates). Other than location and gym, there is not much to offer. The room lighting was horrible, the tub/shower plumbing was plugged and to shower meant standing in 16 inches of dirty water, and housekeeping staff was rude...leaving the front door open while I was in the shower, walking in without a knock at 4 pm, etc. When I notified the front desk of the latter issue and my concerns, the manager on charge was dismissive. Regarding the plumbing, I wasn't offered a new room & the plumbing was never fixed. As for the intruding housekeeping staff, I was advised I should have a "do not disturb" sign on the door at all times. Really?

The Original Haunted Walk was so great! This was my first trip to Ottawa and I can’t think of a better way to see the city. Our guide was wonderful, he told us all kinds of spooky stories about the town - there are haunted spots everywhere! He also told us lots of interesting information while we were walking from stop to stop and even recommended some restaurants and other things to see and do in Ottawa, so not only did we get a great tour, we also got several excellent suggestions for how to best enjoy Ottawa. I was really impressed at how friendly and hospitable everyone was – we were checking out all the tours on hauntedwalk (find it on the Internet) and will definitely be back for another tour!

Spirit of Bali - Worst place I've ever stayed - Charolotte. Date of travel: Jan 2009
Location: | * * * * * |
Service: | * * * * * |
Value for money: | * * * * * |
The Spirit of Bali in Byron Bay is expensive, spider ridden (including the bed), has poor bathroom facilities and the host, Donna, was rude and unhelpful. We left without staying a night and were charged for two. Check your bill - the date our credit card was billed, was before we even arrived. The worst place I have ever stayed!
Chesa Rosatch Hotel - Louise Wyatt. Date of travel: Dec 2008

I stayed at the Chesa Rosatch Hotel in January '09 with my parents and I was well impressed! The 2 restaurants are fantastic and the food was simply delicious - I am still dreaming of the dessert and hot chocolate at the more casual one (can't remember its name). Other than that the skiing in St Moritz in insane and I had so much fun on the slopes. But there is nothing better than coming back to your hotel after a day of hurting your bum (!!!) and nearly breaking your leg to a nice warm and rejuvenating bath and a luxurious and scrummy dinner at the more posh restaurant. I gorged myself every night - not very good for the waistline, but I justified it by being outdoors skiing and rushing around all day ;) If you get to stay at the Chesa Rosatch Hotel I hope you enjoy yourself as much as I did!

My sister owns one of these apartments which is only a 5 min walk to village. It is near the main hotels Nicholas Gate/Nicholas Heights and guests can also use facilities in these hotels. The complex is beautiful, clean and has spotless swimming pool. The Nicholas Group who manage the complex keep it spotless and were there straight away (my sister pays high maintainence charges so they should be!) when we needed them to sort out shower.
Fantastic Spacious accommodation Casa Del Sueno villa in Tias - Sarah. Date of travel: Sep 2008
Location: | * * * * * |
Service: | * * * * * |
Value for money: | * * * * * |
The location of Casa Del Sueno in Tias was perfect only being 5 mins to Puerto Del Carmen. This villa is over 3 floors so it is ideal for families who want to holiday together but no be on top of each other. The Jacuzzi has great views and the pool was always warm not chlorinated so we had no green hair. When we arrived the villa was spotlessly clean and I am fussy. The facilities were fantastic. Cannot fault it at all.
Bel Air - Mike & Sandra Lyford. Date of travel: Sep 2008

If you are going to Bel Air be prepared to spend a day in a timeshare talk where they will try to get you to invest in construction. We were invited out there by a company called Carpe Diem - who apparently no longer exist - neither does the money we invested in them - but when we got to the resort it was another company there! The resort is very tired looking - the jacuzzi wasn't working the whole time we were there - the pool wasn't clean as it had a grease slick on the top, the rooms hadn't had any maintenance done to them since we last visited and the sheets were worn - in fact mine had a hole in it - the two good points of the resort was Florence on reception and the maid service which was excellent.
