Visited Antigua with my husband April 2010. One week was more than enough of their terrible food and mediocre service. On the whole the majority of the staff were pleasant - not the breakfast hostess though. The beaches were wonderful and the water delightful. The rooms old and sadly in need of repainting/redecorating. Mould in the bathrooms. We were in the Gardenview section on the main floor with a little front patio. If you want all inclusive and good value for dollar don't go here. Go to Mexico. Wouldn't go back if you paid me.
A disappointing experience - Liz. Date of travel: Jul 2007

Ok the location of the Grand Pineapple Beach Club and beach are fab, 10 out of 10, the staff again 10 out of 10, the food - terrible, tiny amounts which wasn't a bad thing as the food was terrible - the variety was extremely limited and cheap cuts of meat - no seafood in sight or fresh fruit. (melon was available for breakfast only) the snack bar only provided frozen chips, hotdogs and burgers - no healthy options avaiable with the drinks machine being broken 3 days out of the 7 we were there. There was only one bar and one member of staff - it took some friends 50 mins to get 1 glass of wine one evening. We were served wine in chipped flutes (ran out of wine glasses) in the evening and bird sh*t on the table in time for breakfast. Such a shame that amazing staff and beach were let down by such a poor quality and variet of food.
