The Playa Linda is a great resort and time share. It is very well run and set up. It has a great pool, beach and pretty much anything you might want.
The Hyatt next door is also a wonderful hotel with the nicest restaurant on the island. It is very pricey, but worth it for a special dinner.
Also next door is the Holiday Inn, which has several nice shops, and shares the same great beach as the others.
The Marriot is a beautiful hotel with a lot to offer, but their new time share seems poorly planned.
The rest of the hotels in the high rise area are also worth staying at.
The Mill Resort (not on the beach) is a wonderful place to stay, but the Old Mill Restaurant is now closed.
