If you want to spend 250 Euros per night I am sure you can find much better hotel than the Gletscherblick Hotel!!! The room was very basic: no Internet connection included in the price (3 Euros per day extra), a very old and small TV, poor decoration, basic bathroom. Sauna is OK but very small. I don't understand how it can be considered a 4 star hotel, I would give them 2, 3 in the best case. It is definitely not a place for young people: most of the guests are above 50. Food was good even though the meal were really slow but the breakfast buffet was nice. The owners were nice but very cheap: a bottle of water during the dinner cost 4.60 Euros. Service at the table was fair. The location of the hotel is not good: it is situated almost in St. Jakob, pretty far to walk to the center for a drink at night... I would not recommend this hotel, unless you want to waste your money.

I stayed at the Hotel Gletscherblick for 3 nights in January. I found this hotel clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and the family who runs it, the Jehle-Kathrein Family were just lovely and bent over backwards to meet your every need. the hotel has a very romantic feel with LOTS of wood. The rooms were tasteful and cosy and the spa massage I had was just incredible! I would recommend this hotel and would have no problem staying here again!
