I went on holiday to St Anton in December with my boyfriend and we stayed at the Grieshof Hotel. Had a wonderful stay! The staff were friendly, our room was more like a suite with a balcony and a living room type area. The food was tasty and the breakfast was definitely something to write home about! WOW! Such a selection - we feasted every morning before hitting the slopes. I would definitely go back to the Grieshof Hotel and recommend it to anyone staying in St Anton.

The friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the Grieshof hotel do not make this a four star hotel (because in Austria you get this at any two star hotel). In a four star hotel you do not expect food that is at best mediocre and at worst barely edible this describes dinner, breakfast was unbelievably bad. You do not expect to go to the sauna and steam rooms and find them switched off being told if you want them on you must tell reception in the morning. Go to the bar and order a large beer you will get a small one at the price of a large one. In the bedroom we had a super chamber maid but this does not excuse towels from the Ark and the lack of the usual shower gels and soaps etc, not even a shower cap.The Grieshof is a hotel that seems far more interested in profit than customer comfort and satisfaction!
