I was extremely impressed with the Schwarzer Adler Hotel. Its location is perfect- close to ski lifts (4 mins away) and it's got a ski boot room as well as a pool, sauna and steam room. Personally I like the real fireplace and I spent many an evening in front of it sipping on hot chocolate! The atmosphere in this hotel is cosy, making you feel right at home and comfortable enough to kick back and relax and the food is top notch! The only downside about this hotel is that because it is very popular, a lot of its loyal patrons return year after year and it can therefore get booked up quite quickly, especially over peak season. Also, some of the rooms facing the street can be noisy but St Anton is a party town after all! If you're travelling with young kids you might want to take this into consideration! Great for a couples getaway though! I highly recommend the Schwarzer Adler Hotel.
