Altstadt Radisson, great hotel in Salzburg - Olivia. Date of travel: Nov 2006
Salzburg is a wonderful city, magical with plenty to see and do. And the Alstadt Radisson is the best place to stay, particularly if you want to be right in the middle of the action. You are placed right in the old city and can stroll around feeling like something out of Mozart's era. The hotel also makes you feel like you are in that time (not because its outdated but because its a beautiful old building used since the 1300s!!)- huge room with a large, luxurious bathroom, excellent food and helpful staff. Truly beautiful building feeling more like a homely inn than a chain hotel. BEautiful views of the river too. Couldnt fault this hotel, or Salzburg for that matter.
