The front desk staff at the Aris Grand Place Hotel, particularly an extremely aggressive woman from Morocco, should be fired. This woman must be sick. She offended several ladies and a gentleman visiting the hotel. She was always irritated and shouting. I have never seen something like that. The staff had no identity disc and they refused to tell us their names. It was impossible to speak with the manager or other people with responsibility. This woman destroyed our visit to Brussels. In addition, the location of the hotel is poor with plenty of evil-smelling rubbish waiting for collection and too much exhaust fumes. Do not visit this hotel!

I recently visited this hotel and stayed 2 nights. During the day I was attending several meetings. I had only 2 hangers in my room and needed additionally 1 or 2 so I asked the front desk staff if they could help me. A woman from Morocco was very irritated when I asked her. She shouted "you must pay for a five-stars hotel if you want a better service". I told to her that my request was very easy to satisfy, but she refused. I had problems hanging my clothes in the dusty wardrobe. I had again problems with this woman when checking-out and asking for assistance in order to put my baggage in the baggage room. She refused to help me and shouted. I asked the other member of the staff, a bald headed man, to stop her but he did not do that. I ask for the manager and he told me that the manager had vacations and laughed scornfully. I was shocked. This was the most terrible hotel I had ever visited.

The front desk personnel was a pompous a** who obviously hated his job and should not be in this industry. Extremely unhelpful and mean. The only good thing about it was the location but having said that it was noisy at night and in the morning and our room was in the back! Would never recommend this hotel.

Location location location. If you want to be close to things and dont mind a bit of noise, the Aris Grand Palace is the hotel for you! Right in the historical center of Brussels, it is very convenient to be able to explore the beautiful architecture and the sights of the city. You're like 1 minute from the palace. Our room was comfortable, clean, all we needed. The hotel offers good food 9though ate so much chocolate often was too full!!! dangerous.... Belgian choc shop close by). Good place to stay.
