This hotel is clean, modern, comfortable and totally convenient for exploring Bruges on foot. We parked the car in the basement parking (extra €15 a night but worth it) and didn't need it again til we left town. There is a pretty sheltered courtyard for use of smokers .. the rooms look on to this. Best of all is the buffet breakfast, which has a full range of cereal, fruit, pastries (yummiest croissants ever!!), cold meats, cheese, jams and yoghurts etc and also tasty scrambled egg with bacon. Sweet tooths will enjoy the mini syrup pancakes! A real treat was the capuccino coffee. Rooms were well looked after (our dirty towels changed etc.). The staff were pleasant, but not over-friendly ... unobtrusive I would say, which I enjoy in a hotel. I did not use the bar (there are too many other places to enjoy a drink in Bruges!) but it looked okay. All in all, highly recommended for a city break. The photo shows the courtyard in the hotel.
