After having stayed at chain hotels for a while we decided to give a vacation rental a shot. What a wonderful holiday we had, it was like being at home. We found De Plantage on the internet, a small bungalow complex in the area of Jan Thiel. Fairly new, with lots of privacy, the apartment had everything we needed. Supermarket and beaches are on a 3-minute car distance and we got great tips from the owner on diving, shopping and just discovering the island. It is not a beachfront rental, but that was o.k., because beachfront properties are extremely high priced and we were mere minutes away from beautiful beaches.
