When we arrived (2 of us, girls holiday!) we were pleasantly suprised! As a 2 star hotel, the Riverside Apartments were well equiped, clean and friendly. the location of the hotel was 10 minutes from the square where all the nightlife is and 10 mins to the beach. Nissi beach is 10 mins in a taxi and costs around 4.00 cyp pounds. Restaurants 2 mins away and local bars same distance. We got some sleep too as it is quiet in apartments! Eating out is around the same as the UK and drinks in restaurant are the same. however, in the square it is usually buy one get one free and 2 free shots for about 2.50- bargain!! the club scene kicks off around 10 at night and continues till 7 in morn!! one place you have to go is River Reggae, 2 mins from Riverside Apartments, open from 2pm till 7am, went there every night, highly recommended! Clubs to go to- castle club with RnB and dance, starksys with decades of dance, carwash with cheesy 70's and 80's and black and white with RnB. you can normally get free entrance with fliers! Look out for the booze cruise on a sat night, not for the faint harted but had the best time! With dj's and friendly staff on the boat we had a laugh! go on this- sail round the harbour from 9 till 1 in morn, strippers and party games included!! Getting back to the Riverside Apartments, could not fault it! poolside bar with a smallish pool but ample! Ideal for those wanting to party all night and chill in the sun by the pool by day! Ayia napa is definatly the place to go for nightlife. it is classy not trashy and so much to do! Weather in june was scorching, 30 degrees at night so pack your short skirts and shorts!
