Shocking food! - The Doherty's. Date of travel: Jan 2006
The Marathon Beach Hotel does not deserve four stars. The food especially was really awful. Overcooked bacon and tinned fruit for breakfast. Everything cooked was cold. The staff were not bad, and it was fairly clean.
Good location opposite a nice beach that is reached through a tunnel under the road. Close to lots of restaurants and amenities. We won't be back though.
