The Pagona Apartments was recommended to us by Pam and Roger. Rooms was outstanding and clean. The new bar was brilliant it was nice to sit up there in the evening when it was hot and have a lovely cold beer. The large swimming pool was great but the jacuzzi was fantastic, also bars and restraunts are in walking distance (roughly 5 minutes away) Georgia Stavros Andreous & Neofidous made us feel so welcome the whole holiday !!!! After going to Pagona twice a year for the last 6 years and making many friends that also return year after year we spent a month there in May/June 2006. The owners (Stavros, Georgia, Andreas and Neofitos) and all the other members of staff ensure you enjoy a relaxed friendly atmosphere. The renovations to the pool, which now includes a jacuzzi, bar and restaurant are unbelievable - can't wait to go back in September. The prices of food and drink at the bar are very reasonable (e.g. 2.00 CYP for full English Breakfast & 1.20 CYP for a pint of Keo, Carslberg or Leon). Each apartment has a tap supplying drinking water FOC! For those who have not yet been there, you will be hard pushed to find more spacious apartments than these. They are cleaned every day, towels and bed linen are changed frequently. It's an ideal location being 5 mins from a vast array of restaurants, bars and shops and 10 mins walk to the harbour. We stayed at Pagona Apartments in April 2006 when building work was going on 24/7. The hoteliers didn't care for their guests' discomfort. Many guests had problems like lack of hot water, dirty kitchen equipment, no tv in apartments and of course, building noise. General concensus was that the owner and his staff are not the friendly, caring, welcoming people this site originally led us to anticipate. Never mind. Also, beware, Libra Holidays are very poor when it comes to claiming compensation.

We have been going to Pagona Apts/Hotel now for the last 8/9 years and find the owners/staff, Georgia, Stavros, Andreous and Neofidous very friendly and warm people who will attend to your every need always with a willing and helpfull hand. Pagona is only a 10 min walk away from the bars and restaurants but you hear nothing of this. The rooms are big and have adequate furnishings also more on request if needed. The Poll Bar/Restaurant area is being upgraded to an even higher standard over the winter of 2005/2006. You will find on going back you will always see some familiar faces year after year. Paphos its self is a very warm and friendly place with lots to do for the family. Pagona Apartments is situated roughly 5 minutes walking distance from the bars, clubs and restaurants (or 10 mins stumbling distance, if u plan on going to Bar street every night!) The staff are lovely and friendly, known them for 10 years, and Andreas and Neofytos are like brothers to me! Pool bar offers drinks and good food all day. Perfect place to unwind and relax, refreshed to start all over again for another night on Bar street!
