To all future holiday makers, stay away from the Domina Gardens Plaza hotel. Although the complex looks good the sevice you will receive will be less than you would give your own pet dog. On day 1 at the hotel, after being exploited by the taxi driver charging 200 Egyptian pounds for a journey from the airport, we were to find out later should have been 35 pounds, the reception staff were extremely pushy to get us to upgrade from "all inclusive"to "all inclusive extra". When we questioned this we were told we could only have a.i. drinks from one bar, this was only open from 10 in the morning til 5 in the evening. You could get breakfast in your room if you upgraded, one ride on a glass bottomed boat, your laundry done free of charge and drinks at all bars. When we got to the room, we found there were no towels and the safe in the room didn't work because there were no batteries in it. We went back to reception and they started to act as if they didn't understand English. After 36 hours of effing and blinding, we finally got some towels and the safe was up and running. We had 1 and a 1/2 toilet rolls and couldn't even get replacements for them. So if you get an upset tummy, beware. The meal times were a cattle market. Buffet style at all meals. No fresh fruit on its own, very little variety, rice and potato in abundance but not much else. Once we got our food we had the devils own job to find a table. Once seated at a table, we found that when you got up to look at the desserts some one else would be sitting at your table. Before you had the last mouthful in your mouth, the waiters were taking the plates from you. We were so disgusted with the food we ended up paying out for taxis into Naama Bay to eat at other restaurants and McDonalds. It was this or starve. That was the quality of the food they were serving. The website boasts a beach barbecue. We didn't even find the beach fot the hotel. What beach we did find was a 15 minute walk away. Drinks apart from tea or coffee were served in a plastic cup. On our last day we arranged a hotel taxi back to the airport. This didn't show, and when I went to reception to enquire, they told me to go outside and find a taxi. What fantastic service.
