Stayed at Chalet Schuss. Fantastic view across the whole of chamonix valley. Food was great and owners around all the time to help out. Proper chalet experience with the whole good wine, food, fire cosiness. Snow wasn't brilliant but can't blame them for that. All in all would recommend.

It is only ski in/ski out for experienced skiers at Chalet Schuss. Otherwise it is difficult to come and go from the chalet. 40 euros for 5 minute cab ride from Les Houches. I hope you like the single brand of beer provided, if you don't, they won't give you anything else. Watch the splinters on the rough work inside, and watch your head on the low beams in the top room. Organise your own transfers if you want to be certain. Expect the possibility of old guests being there when you arrive, or new guests arriving before you leave. If you are going for the fresh flowers, complimentary toiletries or unlimited beer, wine and alcohol, you might be disappointed in at least one of these areas.

Chalet Schuss was simply brilliant. Ski in ski out, views to die for, 5 star food and simply the best chalet hosts we've ever had the pleasure of being looked after by. The whole group had a brilliant time and we'll certainly be backl. Tour Operator: Chaletr 1802
