Big Apple - Emma Darby. Date of travel: Oct 2005
This was my first visit to Disneyland Paris. We travelled by air from Manchester and stayed for 2 nights at the Hotel New York. The hotel itself is a 4* hotel and as the name suggests the theme of the hotel is the Big Apple. The New York is on the Disney site, just under a 10 minute walk from Disney Village overlooking Lake Disney. As we travelled in October is was the Haloween Festival; the whole park decked out in the theme of Haloween. We had 3 whole days in the parks, which seemed to be ample time to experience the 2 Disney parks; although both parks were fairly quiet we did not have to queue for long for any of the rides/attractions. Eating in the parks can prove to be quite expensive, however their are numerous choices in the Disney village; ranging fom Mcdonalds, Planet Hollywood of Rainforest Cafe. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and look forward in experiencing again the magic that is Disney.
