If you’re going to stay at the A&O Hostel and Hotel Mitte, I recommend that you just stay at the hostel. We stayed in the hotel but received pretty much the same amenities as the hostel and ate breakfast in the hostel dining room. The building is a 10min walk from Ostbahnhof or Jannowitzbrücke and has a nice new feel about it. Breakfast is pretty good with bread and rolls, marmalade, hone, cold meat and cheese, egg, cereals and yoghurt as well as tea, coffee and orange juice.
