We wanted something cheap but clean on our recent trip to Berlin and found it at the Agon Frankfurter Allee. Stayed for three nights. Pros are the Samariterstrasse U-bahn station is about a minute's walk from the hotel, taking you straight to Alexanderplatz, the room was clean and a good breakfast is available. Cons are the hotel is situated in a not so good neighbourhood and there is noise late at night. If you’re a young traveller and accustomed to this then Agon Frankfurter Allee is pretty good.
