I stayed in Esperia Hotel just for one day when I got back from Santorini before I go to Mykonos. I chose this hotel because it is so centrally located and I had no time to spare. I only had one day to see the Acropolis and some other sites including wonderful Plaka which is walking distance from Esperia. I made all my bookings on line with an agency called Travel Zone Greece. I first made the reservations for Santorini and when I conformed that everything was ok I went on and booked a hotel for Athens and Mykonos as well as ferry and airplane tickets. They were very helpful. I would recommend Esperia hotel to those who have no time to lose. If you are in Athens only for a few days it is ideal. Right in the center of Athens, near the metro and all the buses, the shops and everything. The service was good and the rooms were comfortable and clean and offered in a reasonable price. I would definitely stay there again!

The Esperia Palace Hotel was a bit of a disappointment. It was tatty round the edges and begging for a serious renovation. The air conditioning didnít work and the bathrooms were very worn after years of use, but the rooms were clean. We had an amazing view from our window of the acropolis and the Parthenon, so no complaints there. Also the location of the hotel is really convenient and beautiful, wide sidewalks and trees and you can walk to all the shops and sights.
