We visit Greece and her islands 4 to 5 times a year and we stayed in Hotel London for 3 nights, we found it was a quick transfer on the Airport bus, 3rd stop Glyfada, just ask the driver to inform you, we had a very nice room with 2 queen beds and a bath as well as a shower, you can get a meal until 23.00 hrs which is good if you have a evening landing flight as we did, the tram stop is just around the back of the hotel where you can travel in to the centre of the city in 50 mins or further up the coast to some nice beaches or into the centre of Glyfada, breakfast was included eggs, bacon, toast, cereal, yogurt and honey cheese, coocked meats and biscuits and cake, fruit juice tea or coffee, we found the staff polite and helpful and we will be sure to use the Hotel London again when we stay in Athens. A "full sea view" room is not what can be expected - in our case it was completely unslept night, with room windows going out to crowded motorway, lots of cars making loud noise during whole night. Triple room was tiny double with one more bed, which meant one could not even move there. Staff behaving like they were doing us a biiig favour we have a chance to stay there, not helpful in any way when we tried to change room. No chance to have a breakfast earlier, even half an hour - in the other hotel we had it at 5.30 AM on request. Certainly never again! Tour Operator: none

I visited Athens city last year right before the olympics started and found it to be one of the most energetic, different and beautiful cities I have ever visited. I stayed in an area called Glyfada which was really atrractive and had all the main high street brand shops and fantastic trendy bars to visit in the evenings. I went with three friends and we always had something to do which is a bonus as a lot of other cities dont offer that. We would go to the beaches in the area of Vouliagmeni to swim and I have to say for a city which has a reputation for being stuffy, we couldnt of found more beautiful stunning beaches. We also visited the main attractions but I guess my point is so many tourists dont realize that Athens has so much more then just the Acropolis. On our second last day we went up to the northern surburbs of Athens to an area called Kiffissia. I have vowed to myself that one day I want to live their. It was nicer then Knightsbridge and such a surreal lovely neighbourhood untouched by tourists. Well that was my greek holiday last summer, I plan to go again this year and hopefully I will find a nice greek girl! Tour Operator: easy jet
