Corfu Sea Gardens, well nice - Gemma Clare. Date of travel: Jun 2007
Got back from Corfu Sea Gardens a few weeks ago. Me and best friend went, both aged 23. The complex is lovely, food is excellent, only downside for young people wanting to go into centre every night, is that it's a 15min walk, but it's great as you can walk away from the madness. Corfu Sea Gardens is great for families. All the staff are really friendly. It's right on beach, but not much of a beach, the water sports are right next door on the beach. There are a few younger groups of people staying there, but they are not the crazy people, for you families who are reading this.

The Corfu Sea Gardens hotel was lovely, but it was more for familys and not for 2 young lasses. The maid who cleaned our room was nasty and we would not stay there next year. It was 2 out the way of the strip had 2 get taxis every night. Tour Operator: Thomas Cook

No such thing as all inclusive at the Corfu Sea Gardebs, the free drinks stop at 11 at night then you have to pay. The queue at the bar is horrendous, sometimes only one serving so you can queue up to 20 mins, you are only allowed 2 drinks per visit to the bar.The drinks are all cheap crap. It says that food is available at the bar throughout the day, what a load of twoddle,.. its non existant. You get ripped off for 70 euro for air conditioning, apart from 35 euro for a safe and 15 euro for a remote for the tele. The room was adaquate but couldn't use the wardrobes because the shower leaked into it and left the stench of stagnent water throughout the apartment..this was a common complaint. Don't bother to complain as the manager will just threaten to chuck you off the complex. Tour Operator: Hayes Travel

Great holiday. Went with my boyfriend and we had a wicked laugh. The Corfu Sea Gardens hotel is full of a range of people from OAP's to families and young groups! Holiday was nice n the staff were friendly. Lots of activities 4 everyone to join in! Kavos town was a 10minute walk away, didn't get in a taxi once. Going back next year!

I went to Corfu Sea Gardens in July - Aug 06 with my family. As there were 8 of us there was a huge age range although facilities and staff managed to provide something for us all! The food wasnt great but the complex is beautiful! The entertainment was family orientated and the reps were always up 4 a laugh! big shout out to Katie Alex and Rianna! WE'RE LIVIN THE DREAM!!!!

Corfu Sea Gardens was lovely, about a 10 min walk from the strip, but it was ok, really nice place. We absolutely loved Kavos!!!! It is all about the nightlife, drinkin, dancing!!! There are some excellent bars and even better people....The Barn was wicked, Prime Bar, Rolling Stones and Splash too. Beware of Empire and Fire, the drinks are awful....as in not really vodka!! Everything is really cheap, 3 course meal for 7 euros most places you go. Tour Operator: Thompson

The hotel looks great from the outside but the rooms were disappointing. The pool was great, the staff and the entertainment team was lovely. The restaurant food was lovely. Was quite far from the clubs an bars but that meant that you could get a great sleep. Tour Operator: Thomson

Hotel was nice, was away from the main strip of Kavos, so you could get sleep if you wanted. Didn't like our beds though: they were stupid camp beds! Bathroom was small and every time you had a shower the floor would end up soaked. Expensive drinks at the pool. But the pool was lovely and big and very clean, staff very friendly. Hotel was really fantastic for what we wanted. We went mainly for the night life but it was nice because the hotel was away from the main strip so you could sleep at night. Beds were uncomfortable however and bathroom was tiny and when you showered, water would be all over the floor. The restaurant was disapointing and the drinks were expensive, but we were 5 young girls so we weren't that bothered. I wouldn't reccomend this hotel for families, mainly because the hotel is packed with young people when everyone comes back from clubbing. Kavos itself is not suitable for families: there isn't anything else to do but club. Tour Operator: Thompson
