Very good clean hotel - Richard Allsop. Date of travel: Jul 2006

The Sirios hotel is just outside of Chania in a village called Kato Doratso but don't let that put you off. The hotel is actually made up of small apartments around two lovely pools and stretch into a small village with everything that you need, a very good shop, pool bar and a very good restaurant serving exellent meals. A €5 taxi ride one way takes you into lovely Chania town and the same taxi ride the other way takes you to the resorts of Agia Marina and Platanias. I think that the Sirios is ideally placed to explore the western coast of Crete and would recommend it to anyone.
