We just spent a gloriously luxurious and romantic honeymoon in the Lato Boutique Hotelin Heraklion, Crete, just a short walk from the old port with a beautiful view of the ancient Venetian fortress, even though it is right in the middle of the city. I want to recommend this lovely hotel with its friendly atmosphere and beautiful decor. Each of its 58 rooms are differently furnished and styled and the service is wonderful. Having been to Crete before on cheap package holidays it was a real treat to enjoy the island from this oasis of luxury.
