We stayed in the Argyri Apartments from the 24th Sept '08 for a week. It;s basic and clean, the only problem is you have to ask for clean towels. The staff are all friendly and welcoming. The pool is well maintained and was refilled whilst we were there. It's close to everything you need and you can throw a stone from the entrance and it will hit the beach. It's a bit noisy if you're on the ground floor as you can hear everyone come in as the floors are all tiled. Overall it's a super place to stay and with good staff at the end of the day you only sleep in it.

The position of the Argyri Apartments was brilliant, we walked down the stairs to a very nice family run restaurant (not part of the hotel), who also brought the food up to our room and opposite was a shop that had drink and food with papers and magazines available down the road. All the bars and clubs were a two minute walk away! The apartment itself was very poor, we got there with a dirty sink, sand everywhere in the sink, the floor was dirtier than the road! Our feet got black walking from the door to the balcony! We had to rob a mop to do it ourselves as the cleaners obviously had no idea. Our bathroom light wasn't working until our 3rd night, which meant we could only use it in the daylight! Two Euros a day for sunbeds. Charges for use of a safe, expensive air con, but was of good use!

All the staff were nice and friendly and it was near bar street but not near enough to get all the noise from bar street! Tour Operator: Thomas cook

Hey! I went to the Argyri on 21st June 2006 with 5 friends! The apartments are very clean and overlooked the pool which is of a good size! The staff at reception and the bar were very friendly, as was the Thomas Cook rep James! The bar crawl is worth going on early on in the holiday. It is a good chance to get to know the bars, get free shots and join in some games! The location of the apartments is perfect! Next to the beach and right near the bars! Music goes off in the bars at 12am, and the clubs are sound proof so there is no noise if you decide to go to bed! Be aware that there is a charge of 2euros per day for the sunbeds around the pool, and that the air conditioning is 6 euros per day per apartment. I took my own fan with me which we used instead of the air conditioning and it was very pleasant! It may also be worth packing a few toilet rolls as they only provide you with one toilet roll per apartment for the duration of your holiday as they expect you to buy your own! However, if you ask the maids nicely enough they will give you some more! Over all, I would recommend these apartments to anyone wanting a lively holiday who want to stay in a clean well looked after property! Tour Operator: Thomas Cook

We have been going to Kardamena for 10 years now and I have to say Argyri is one of the nicest, cleanest and friendliest hotels there. The location is excellent, near the beach and the nightlife with no noise. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are basic just like any other, they are kept clean everyday. The girls in the restaurant are fantastic and cook really well. I was told the hotel was more for young people and not families, but we took our 2 children and they loved it. It was not inappropriate for children at all. At night it was quiet and in the day it was fun. Would definitely recommend to all.

I am james and I am the Thomas Cook rep in the Argyri and I also live in the hotel and can say that it its great, especially for younger party animals in peak season, great for couples and elder guests in April May and September. Im a bit upset as I leave in a couple of days as my season is over. James
