The Georgia Apartments (Afandou) are in the middle of nowhere! Main Road outside , track to walk along side - need walking boots!
It's 30min walk to the very big pebbly beach!! Boots needed "ear" to.
Village again 25mins walk, with NO bars or tavernas for a drink!!!!
Afandou is OK but most bars closed in afternoon. What? Yes, closed!!!!
Studio was large, big balcony, concrete mattress. Shower tray very, very small & slippery, be very careful in there!!!!!
Did not do Greek/BBQ so we were not very welcome. I asked for Bloody Mary & was told twice 'sorry, no tomato juice. What? It's July & supermarket next ( I bought it myself).
We did go to the beach 4 times & Afandou each night. We made the most of a cheap holiday!!!!! You get what you pay for.
The place is for returning guests & the Greeks themselves. Very noisy at night (2:30am most nights) with the Greeks.
Now it's 40c & they want 10 Euro a day. You can buy a fan in Afandou for 20 Euro but they will take it out of your room!!!!!!!
No, I would not recommend this place at all. All they want is your ££££ & that's it.

We had a fab holiday in the Georgia Apartments (Afandou) in May 2008. The weather was fab and the place central. Bus services ok, easy to reach Lindos or Rhodes town. The hotel was a friendly family run business with Greek nights, bingo, disco, etc. Clean spacious apartments, good basic equipment.

I found everything about the Georgia Apartments brilliant. The service, the special things they had on at night e.g. Greek night. It was all brilliant. I had never seen rooms that were so clean and tidy before, and the bathrooms were amazing. All staff were very helpful. It was a great holiday and I look forward to going again.

Very friendly, helpful staff at Georgia Apartments. The Greek night was very entertaining, and extremely good value for money. The apartments were comfortable, and the cleaners serviced them twice in the week we stayed. Very good value for money.

The Georga Apartments have been refurbished over the winter and now offer a genuine 2 bedroom apartment accommodation. All the apartments are of a high standard (the shower even has a shower curtain). Though the site is situated on a main road you do not hear the traffic when you are in the pool area. The staff are friendly and will do their utmost to help you. Can only recommend this establishment highly if you want a quiet relaxing holiday, that is just far enough away from the resort of Falaraki currently €9 in a taxi.
