Lucky enough to find Villa Nicholas accommodation available on a late booking basis, through Manos. Just the two of us in a gorgeous two bedroom villa. Bathroom is tired but sanitary ware now replaced. Central location which is essential in Lindos. The main room is huge. We chose to use the second bedroom because of its charm. Kitchen well equipped and, once again, large enough for four. Courtyard is totally private and this property's crowning glory. We've been going to Lindos for 25 years. Stayed in most rooms, this is the best yet, but remember to judge it by Greek standards.

Villa Nicholas - Good Location, good layout if you have older children or if for adults, bedrooms fine, quirky with Indian beds. Kitchen is OK if a little tired, courtyard fantastic for outdoor living, private and the best bit of the property. Bathroom however is another issue - very old, very smelly, not entirely clean, broken tiles, broken sanitary ware and not a pleasant room even by Greek standards. Keep the drain pipes blocked with polythene or you may get a visitor or two that you didn't invite. If the bathroom was replaced this would be a good place to stay.

The Villa Nicholas was AMAZING. It really was different from anywhere else in Greece I've ever been before. It was really old and the whole villa (apart from the kitchen and bathroom) had cobbled patterned floor... which hurts a bit but is supposed to be good for your feet! The beds were very high up, on wooden-like boxes which was a bit odd but you get used to it. The accommodation had everything needed for self catering, including washing line and loads of kithchen stuff. The maid was very friendly, which is always a bonus. I totally fell in love with the whole place and cant wait to go back. It wouldnt be useful to anyone who had trouble walking or with their knees.
