The Sun Beach complex is a fantastic hotel, just arrived home 2 days ago, lots of restaurants and shops surrounding the complex, if you are a plane fanatic you get a great view of the planes coming into land. Hotel pool is very clean and safe, but don't guarantee to get a sunbed unless you are up at 6.30am. We only used the pool a few times to cool down and it was lovely. If you are a confident driver, then you should hire a car and drive down both sides of the island. If you drive down the Faliraki side you get the hustle and bustle of the tourists, but, go down the other side and you can see how the locals live, we loved the local side of the island, found some lovely local beaches. You must try Tzambiki beach on the tourist side it is like being in the Carribean. This is our 3rd time to Rhodes and I'm sure it won't be the last...

We have just come back from an excellent two weeks half board holiday at the Sun Beach Hotel in Rhodes. Having a 10-year-old daughter made us think a bit about how we would keep her occupied for the full two weeks, but we had no problems. Because we had the facilities of both Sun Beach 1 and Sun Beach 2 at our disposal as well as being just 50 yards from the beach (although a bit pebbly) meant that we had the choice of four pools of varying depths. The excellent facilities such as the hotel's own supermarket meant that if you were on a tight budget you could by drinks and snacks, etc without having to pay the hotel prices, although the food supplied by the hotel was varied and of good quality. The hotel evening entertainment was a bit boring although they did have a kids' club, plus Rhodes town was only 15 minutes down the road. The staff and service were excellent, their effeciency could not be bettered and so polite, you felt like a personal friend by the end of the holiday. We shall definitely go again in a few years.

Rooms are very clean, with a cleaner visiting every day. Views of Turkey are good on a clear day. The pool is excellent and although we didn't use it saw that the people who did, certainly enjoyed themselves. The hotel restaraunts are excellent with special nights such as Greek and BBQ night on. Free tennis and mini golf are available from reception.
