Don't under any circumstances stay at the Jimmy Litsa studios or Jimmys Studios in Platanias. Platanias is nice, all the amenities apart from a busy road. Jimmy opens his dirty, filthy apartments every year and obviously the holiday firms are not checking properly. You would not keep a dog in those conditions. Our apartment had not been cleaned, the fridge was dirty and broken, the other fridge he had put there was noisy. The doors on the patio were dangerous with broken metal sticking out. Jimmy was supposed to give us a hearty welcome but he just shrugged and told us to have another room. I do know Greece is basic, I've been there many times, but dirty filthy basic and noisy is not Greek at all. Oh yes and the previous occupants of the room had left us a present in the toilet!! The holiday reps have a lot of work to do and they are still supposed to put people in these rooms and put up with the hassle they get off tired holiday makers just looking for somewhere basic and clean to stay!! Olympic holidays need to ditch Jimmy NOW!! Three couples moved out with us, one couple wouldn't stay just for one night to be moved the next day, they couldn't bear it!! We were moved to the Konstantinos hotel up on the hillside with fantastic views of the Islands. An extra cost of course!! Konstantinos hotel, lovely, a bit out of the way, but if you want peace and quiet, and fabulous staff, its great. If you are a nervous flyer, the runway at Skiathos is VERY short so the pilot brakes very hard, good fun!!! And you should do the take off!!!!!!!!!!!!! no room to abort take off unless you fancy a final dip in the sea!!!! Skiathos is nice, I will definitely go back again, but not to Litsa Jimmys or Jimmys!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tour Operator: Olympic

Don't stay at Jimmy Litsas, or Jimmy Studios in Platanias: its filthy and in need of painting and fixing up. We moved out with 3 other couples!! Just don't go there!!!! Jimmy doesn't really care if you complain, just shrugs his shoulders and wanders off!!! If you have booked there get out!!!!! The picture of the studios is his house!! Tour Operator: First Choice

We stayed at Jimmys for 2 weeks, having moved there from a horrible place in Skopelos. We found it basic, but clean, and Jimmy and his staff were friendly and really helpful. Platanias is a great resort with pleanty to do, and Litsa is a 2 min walk, if that to the beach! I would definitely return.
