Me and my partner booked last minute off teletext, we stayed in one of the Victoria complex maisonettes over looking the pool and it was realy realy nice, the accommadation was basic (as any Greek property), the location was quiet for younger couples, but the bus service runs regularly into town. The staff and family who run this are very helpful. Highly recommended. Tour Operator: Olympic

We read some pretty scary reviews of the VC before our visit in June this year but we're more than delighted to inform all and sundry that bar nothing, they were all unfounded !!
The family and staff who run the establishment are as friendly and helpful as you could possibly wish for and the studios are as good as you will find anywhere at the price( cleaned every day if you so wish!).
The on site supermarket is well stocked and well priced, the resturant is without doubt the best we visited on the island (booking is advisable, it's that popular!) and you're five minutes stroll from Troulos beach which is again, exellent with some really great little establishments run by the locals. You can get the local bus right outside in either direction or (as happened to us a few times) take up the offer of the cab drivers who will drop you off in Skiathos town if they are going that way for 5/6 euros!
The studios are up a very steep incline but again, the owners take all your luggage up (and down) for you and even offer to take up your shopping if you so wish! Quite honestly, if this little hill is beyond you, maybe these islands are not going to be your cup of tea anyway!
Highly recommended for a short break and for all those who truly enjoy the Greek islanders way of life !!
