We were frustrated by the service at this hotel. Upon arriving, we were told that aiconditioning for the room would be an extra 10 euros a night (about 14 dollars) above the price we had paid for booking, two months earlier. (We originally paid for four nights for $422.) This a/c fee is not listed anywhere on the website. It is outrageous and clearly an attempt at extorting money after the reservation had been paid well in advance (we were traveling in July 2007, during a heatwave, and just returned yesterday). Additionally, our room was not cleaned daily, and the shower leaked all over the bathroom floor. Finally, the Dominik Panzio Hotel will reserve cabrides to the airport using only one company that charges twice the average rate - 6,000 florints rather than 3,000 florints. We made our own cab reservations and got the better deal. The staff is nice, and several of them even admitted that the a/c charge and cab policy were unfair. The Dominik Panzio Hotel is newly refurbished and clean, but its practices should dissuade you from staying here.
