We loved staying in Horas Family Home where everything is clean and everything works. After some other experiences it felt like coming home, reading a book and watching the news on TV. The vegetable and orchid garden is really something we have not seen before in a holiday home for rent. The boating and swimming was really fantastic.

Horas Family Home is a perfect accommodation for families or small groups up to 8 people. It has full kitchen facilities as well as international TV and its own flower, with many orchids, and vegetable gardens. It is located directly on the lake and the use of two small boats is included in the rent. Horas Family Home offers speedboat trips all over and along Lake Toba. Restaurants, shops, and Internet cafes are within 5 minutes walking distance.

I'm so happy we managed to find this place. Clean, quiet, friendly staff and great food. The barbeque the owner organised for us was simply amazing. Fish, chicken and everything else we asked for.
They definitely score high on service.
