A weekend in Alghero - Aurora. Date of travel: May 2007
We have jsut come back from a long week end in Alghero, a very pretty town located on the north of Sardinia. Found very cheap flights from Stanstead!! Lovely port and old town with some good shops. Liked most of all the relaxed atmosphere where nobody is ina hurry. Loved the daily fruit and veg market and the fish market is not to be missed! Enjoyed very much the hotel, friendly and clean, took advantage of there restaurant located in the old town with a lovely sea view, they offered a 10% discount for all guests. all in all a lovely town and beautiful beaches, le bombarde beach not to be missed.
