WOW!!! The Datai is the most amasing place we have ever visited, the perfect end to 3 weeks in Malaysia, the perfect setting for our honeymoon. This place is rated 5* but I sincerely believe that the classification needs to be reviewed and more stars added. The food is amasing, the service is amasing, the rooms are amasing, the pools & beach are amasing. The rainforest and proximity of the wildlife is remarkable. There is no way that any description that I give will do the Datai justice, I have never experienced such attention to detail, such hospitality. I thought that we had experienced luxury before but now I understand the meaning of luxury. Expensive but worth every single last penny and against our usual philosophy we will return!
