LAS ROCAS RESORT AND SPA HOLIDAY REVIEWS
Las Rocas Resort And Spa, Baja California
Las Rocas Resort and Spa - Purnima Madhivanan. Date of travel: May 2007
We found this property to be a really wonderful break from a commercial hotel. It is an older hotel but fairly well maintained. The service is friendly and helpful. The rooms are well designed with each room having an ocean view. The housekeeping is very good and the on-property restaurant, worthy of mention. If you would like to come to Baja to just relax. This is definitely a good place to do it.
One warning about the restaurant in Las Rocas is - do not order dessert in off season time as they will serve you frozen desserts. Except for that one thing, my experience with Las Rocas have been wonderful!
For a person like me who depends on the internet for everything, the rooms have wireless. Importantly, the hotel is centrally located with good access to Ensenada and Rosarito.
Don't miss visiting a good family style restaurant called 'Las Mananitas' outside of Rosarito at 31km marker in Poptla Blvd. It's an outstanding authentic Mexican restaurant with great Margaritas!!!
We took a trip to Ensenada and had lunch at El Rey Sol, the Cadillac Margaritas were out of the world. The French cuisine was affordable and the food was fantastic except for the chicken mole which is much better in Las Mananitas!
