We went to Blue Bay Club in Cancun on 17th Sept 2007. There were 6 adults and 1 kid. The entertainment staff were brill for kids and adults. We moved rooms after 4 days as we were over the road under the tunnel and were bitten to pieces by something (not mosquitoes) as soon as we moved into main hotel it was brill, food great drink on tap and sun shining, what more could you want. Taxi £4 into town and hotel staff flag it down for you. If you go request junior suites, miles better and ask for upper floor. No lifts so if you have kids 2nd floor better as you don't need lift from lobby bar. Dario, Charlie, Kike, Carlos, Martha, Luis and Alejandra are main entertainment staff and are brill. Bar shuts 1am but opens 10am again soft drinks on 23 hours same as snacks. It is a bit far out but £4 in town ok. Families needn't bother everything on site. They do booze cruises, jungle trips, jet skiis, trips to dolphins and captain hook ship and we did them all. Kayaks and canoes and catamarans are free from Luis at hotel. Going back next June for my sister Kelly and her husband-to-be, Martin's honeymoon. Hope to see you there.

The accomadation was very good. We all had to move rooms after the first night for some reason. The rooms differentiated quite alot. The room on the first night was a standard two bed room (which was clean and well equpied) then we got moved into a room that would have been perfect for a couple, with a massive kingsize bed upstairs. However a game of rock, paper, scissors saw me having to kip on an uncomfortble sofa bed... but after a few sherberts you dont notice it. I found the best remedy was to find a lovely american girl, and spend the night in their bed. I'd def recommend you stay in Blue Bay Getaway, as apposed to the Blue Bay Club. It is much more lively and the birds constantly has their tits out. Oh and the food is far better.
