Catembe Gallery Hotel - P Nyati. Date of travel: Feb 2009
Catembe Gallery Hotel is a pleasant hotel that provides a clean room with a good restaurant, modern bathroom with lovely view of Maputo city skyline and with quite decent food for dinner and breakfast. We had crossed easily and it was fast we take the water taxis and we had that they run from Sunrise to Sundown’s, they are also rehabilitation of the jetty. If you want to walk to the hotel along the beach it took us only 45mins (leisurely Walk). The hotel also has got a minibus that they use to Pick clients form the Jetty. The staff they are very friendly and speak both Portuguese and English and they are very helpful. We also went for Massage at the Hotel and the restaurant food was very nice and we were served very fast. The hotel is one of the best Places in Maputo.

I hated the Catembe Gallery Hotel. I left after spending two nights. The place is dirty. The food is bad and badly cooked!
