After reading several positive reviews of the Hotel Amstelzicht, I was looking forward to the stay in Amsterdam. Unfortunately how wrong!!!!! I had booked an apartment.....it was cold and dirty and backed onto a dark alleyway. When I approached the manager/owner he suggested that my partner and I wore warmer cloths even though at the time (because it was cold) we were wearing our jackets. We also ended up sleeping in them. The club next door kept us awake through to the very early hours of the morning. The Manager/owner was extremely rude and unhelpful.Thank goodness we were there only three days.
