We stayed on Mactan at SDR Serviced Apartments. Three minutes from the airport and a terrific find (thanks to a fellow travellers kind tip). We had free Internet, airport transfer and a large room (with kitchen) for only USD288, a week, including tax! They have two swimming pools, free airport pick-up, high-speed internet also free, kitchens in each apartment so you can self cater and very friendly staff. If you go to Cebu stay there, but book ahead as they seem to be running at a high occupancy. The apartment buildings are not all being used (the project is huge) but all the rooms are less than a few years old and have all modern cons. The apartments are close to Marina Mall, with over 100 shops I think and only 10 minutes from beaches.

I'm absolutely sure SDR Mactan Apartments is the best bargain in Cebu. The room was large, clean and well appointed. The location was good and the staff were excellent. There was a slight problem with water pressure but overall no big deal.

We stayed at SDR Apartments which is close to the Airport, Beaches, Malls, Golf Course (Mactan Coral Golf Club), Yacht Club, etc. The apartments are modern (decorated in the last 18 months), have high speed internet, small kitchen, full size refrigerator, balcony etc. We stayed for one month and the cost was USD599. great value and excellent location. The only let down were the staff who were not very friendly. Tour Operator: n/a
