SWAGMAN HOTEL HOLIDAY REVIEWS
Swagman Hotel, Manila
My regular stop in Manila - Jayshway. Date of travel: Dec 2008
I sail and dive in the Philippines and Swagman Hotel is my stop while passing through Manila. The rooms are not luxurious but also not expensive, and the free airport pickup and drop off saves a lot of trouble. The restaurant and sports bar are good and the prices reasonable, and the hotel is an easy walk from the baywalk and Robinson's mall, and just a half block from the US Embassy. The immediate neighborhood is run-down but not dangerous, as far as I can tell.

I loved the accommodation - Lukewarm. Date of travel: Oct 2006
The Swagman Hotel is a very well run hotel and obviously Aussie themed which means very good restaurant and good cold beer. Filipinos here are very helpful and although I found the Swagman Narra at Angeles a lot nicer regarding accomodation, the breakfast at the Ermita hotel was out of this world, I'll certainly go back a)because I like the hotel and b) Its close to one of my most favourite bars - LA Cafe in Del Pillar.
