The rooms at the Vip Zurich are very cramped, with barely enough room from the bed to the small desk area to squeeze a chair, so forget about using a computer (if you could find a place to plug it in). Double bed is really two twin beds made up and put next to each other. The TV has four pay channels and little else to choose from. Worst of all, I asked for the air conditioning to be fixed as I left in the morning and when I came back it was still not working. When I asked again the front desk sent a bell hop to move the same levers I moved and to tell me that was as good as it gets. It was October and the windows open so I was able to cool down a little, but the sound of traffic and street noise was too much at night. Working during the day was uncomfortable. There are other hotels in the exact same area that might be better choices. Don't bother with this one.
