Albufeira Jardim I & II is a good choice for families seeking a holiday in the Algarve. The complex overlooks the Albufeira holiday resort, where there are a wide choice of shops, bars and restaurants. The centre of Albufeira is only a 10 minute walk from the hotel. The beach is also a 10 minutemore

I visited Albufeira Jardim 1 and 2 in August '08 and was not impressed, the apartments were of a poor standard, electrical appliances did not work and there was a constant smell of sewage, however the view was fantastic, but it was a long way from the reception and pool area to our room, considering we were at the back of the complex, at the highest part of Albufeira. I do however suggest that if you decide to take a walk into "the square" do stop by Eddie's bar and restaurant, they have amazing food and a very good bar area. Overall I would rate this holiday average.

Went to Albufeira in September '07 with my boyfriend, weather was good for a few days but mostly cloudy, when we arrived our room wasn't ready so we had to wait around by the pool for 3 hours! Other than that the appartments and location were really good basic but what you needed. The old town is just a few minutes away and the night life was fab! Had a really good holiday and I'm going back in may but in a different apartment. Wouldn't recommend families as the apartments are on a hill, but good for young couples.
