Overall impression of Hotel Aldeia is very good however, if you're travelling with young children and don't want to be caught up in the hustle and bustle of the night life - Hotel Aldeia is situated on Albufeira's 'the strip' - then this may not be the ideal choice for you. We initially booked a twin/double room and requested a cot for our child but the room was far too small for all 3 to stay in for 2 weeks, nevermind that the room overlooked the 'strip'. Staff transferred us to an apartment - excellent!
Lovely breakfast choice, themed restaurant nights, friendly staff, frequent linen changes. The only downfall (for us with a small child) was the close proximity to the noise from the numerous clubs. Teenagers, singles and those looking for a clubbing/energetic holiday will love this hotel for it's location.
