Just returned from the Alvormar 6 people stayed in 2 apts, Our second time , but brought 2 more friends with us this time .,Our friends apts were 2 bedroom and possibly the biggest apt we have ever seen .
Spacious Clean and great location especially for our Friend Lionel's bar called the CHILL OUT BAR. The best bar in Alvor, we will all be returning next year Fantastic Holiday.

The Alvormar Apartments are in a prime but quiet location 4 minutes walk from the centre. The beach is 10 minutes in the opposite direction. The rooms are very clean and well equipped including a television, fridge and microwave. Lifts if on a higher floor. It was well worth it, 3 star rating and it has about 50 rooms. There is a coffee shop and book exchange library. On the negative side, the swimming pool is small and naff and the space for limited sunbeds is cramped. The staff are excellent. We would recommend for couples and thought it was good value for money. There is a large supermarket 2 minutes away and the bus stop to take you to nearby resorts is just around the corner.

The Alvomar Apartments are a good choice provided you do not want a seafront location. The apartments are a short stroll from the town and 10 minutes walk to the beach. The rooms overall are excellent with all the necessary equipment: kettle, air-conditioning, fridge and television. Basically but tastefully furnished, with a balcony. The cleanliness is of a high standard. The staff are helpful, efficient and friendly. A book library exchange is available. On the downside, the swimming pool is small and the surrounding area with free sunbeds is limited and cramped.

The Alvormar Apartments consist of 50 rooms in a central area 5 minutes walk from the old town and 15 minutes from the beach. The rooms are a decent size, well equipped and are cleaned daily. The staff are helpful and friendly. There is only a small swimming pool area and it is best suited to couples wanting a base rather than facilities on site. it suited us ideally but is probably much more suited to couples rather than families.
