The Santa Teresinha Apartments are very good, well equipped, comfortable and spacious with a lovely swimming pool. However they are situated on the border of the town and are a 30 minute walk to the old town and even further to the beach. There is an occasional courtesy bus to the centre but it does making getting around time critical and restrictive. For this reason we did not find this accommodation suitable for our needs. Couldn't fault the Santa Teresinha Apartments, we were very pleasantly surprised when we arrived. They were brand new and well equipped, hope they don't get spoilt. We are sun worshippers and our balconies, front & back, got the sun all day and the pool area got the sun all day and the views of the countryside were amazing Plenty of free loungers and some days we got the pool top ourselves. They are about a 25 min walk into Alvor but at least you worked up an appetite for all the marvellous restaurants that Alvor has. Have been to Portugal before and have found it hard to sleep because of the noise - but not here. A step back in time in the local cobbled village across the road where you can buy fresh baked bread and which has a small supermarket. At the local restaurant we had a meal with wine and brandies for under £15.00 and it was good. An excellent holiday and would love to return to the Santa Teresinha Apartments. Tour Operator: Direct
