Well it was my fourth year in a row in the complex and I am in love with the place. The people who work there are extremely nice and they remember me every year. I will definitely be returning next year. I recommend the joker sports bar down in Carvoeiro for a good drink and atmosphere, Ele and Ela for dinner and Bellisimo for a great cup of coffee. Can't wait to go back I'm in love with it. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as I did.

Had an excellent holiday in the very well appointed Casa-Penn apartment, which was very spacious and homely. All mod cons available made our stay extremely pleasant especially the aircon, which was deliciously cool in a hot, hot September. The new kitchen and bathroom are stunning and well equipped. All in all, couldn't fault the holiday.

Had an excellent holiday in the very well appointed Casa-Penn apartment, which was very spacious and homely, the new kitchen and bathroom are stunning. The delicious air conditioning was very welcome after catching some rays on the sun terrace. The Rocha Brava complex is extremely well kept, clean and has a nice serenity about it, feels very classy. The 3 swimming pools are all good and each have separate kiddie paddling pools. The resort restaurant is excellent and I can definitely recommend their Chateuabriand and rack of lamb which were delicious, the house red wasn't bad either !!! There's also a very pleasant cafe on site which has a nice friendly atmosphere and provides meals and drinks all day. The Reception staff at the complex couldn't be more helpful, nothing was too much trouble. There is a free bus down to Carvoeiro 3 times a day. The tennis courts have a very good surface and are well maintained. There's also some very picturesque beaches close by especially the beautiful Marinha beach. Vale do Milho 9 hole golf course is literally across the road from the complex and provides a good test of golf for a par 3 course. The Pestana golf complex is 5km away and has 2 excellent big boys courses. If you like water parks you won't be disappointed, theres the Aqualand with the "Big One" slide if your trunks are up to it, mine were upto my armpits !!! Theres also the Slide and Splash nearby. Zoomarine (Dolpinarium and much more) in nearby Guia is definitely worth a visit and our nephew adored Krazyworld zoo. Carvoeiro village which is a short taxi ride away (3km) is very pretty and has a wealth of nice restaurants, it was difficult to choose where to eat as there are so many good ones. Theres also lots of bars and some interesting shops to peruse. All in all, couldn't fault the holiday.
