Dom Pedro Golf in Vilamoura is is just twenty mins from the airport (€25 - €30 taxi fare each way). Dom Pedro Golf Hotel was good. Grounds are extensive, quiet and quite relaxing. There was no problem getting a sun lounger at any time of the day, but note that the hotel does not provide any parasols, there are trees for shade however. Vilamoura resort is just a 5 minute walk away from the Dom Pedro Golf hotel, and there are plenty of resturants and bars available there. We love Vilamoura and we will certainly be back and would stay at the same hotel again.
