I stayed in Golden Apple a few nights in July. I always travel back and forth. It was pretty hot outside this time, but nice inside. My room was not big at all, but I got a fair deal on it online, so it wasn't a problem. Breakfast is included and it's really filling. Nothing to say about bar and restaurant - I always dined outside with partners. People are quite friendly, if compared with Russian-style service overall. Location is fine. You go any direction and find something interesting. So if you are in Moscow, stop by to check the place. Some people might not like their funky style.
