Hotel Providential, as cheap as accommodation gets in Dakar, about $20 a night. Not very clean, but it did have a fan. This hotel works as a brothel too, renting rooms by the hour. I was never kept up at night and my stuff was safe. But I did get some heavily flirting ladies outside the door.
