When planning for our trip, we looked at all the Hotels in the vicinity of the Waterfront and the City center as we were not going to be hiring a car. Or so we thought. I came across two websites which were very helpful and I found accommodation at the infamous Marina Estate which is situated along the most beautiful canal and has views of the Waterfront. Perfect. What signed the deal for me was the price. I had been quoted +- R950 per night in a Hotel and I was being quoted the same price for an entire apartment! Incredible? We stayed in a 1 bedroom overlooking the harbour - the apartment is fully self catering and of a 4 Star Hotel standard. We were very impressed with everything - the Agent was efficient, and the Manager (who we met on arrival) was incredibly friendly and helpful and made our stay that much easier by pointing us in the right directions. I highly recommend this accommodation! Jane & Peter
