Vineyard Hotel, Cape Town
The Vineyard Hotel in Cape Town is one of those hotels which guests keep returning to. Situated in the leafy suburb of Newlands, the Vinyard combines style, comfort and service with great facilities. Recently stayed at the Vineyard Hotel in Cape Town, the hotel is in Newlands which is a nice quiet suburb about 20 minutes from the city centre, but well situated 40 minutes from the wine region and close to Contantia and Kirstenbosch Gardens. The rooms are comfortable and were recently modernised. Huge bed and lovely bathrooms. There is a nice bar and restaurant in the hotel and the gardens are a nice place to chill out. The restaurant is okay, but there are better elsewhere in Cape Town - some are really exceptional. Contansia Uitsig is fantastic. Nice pool, though not that large. If I had to complain, I'd say the service was a bit sloppy. Staff very friendly but waiters forget the drink orders regularly! All in all though, I'd say that the Vineyard Hotel is a good choice for those after a relaxing base in Cape Town.
